We’d like to extend a warm welcome to Josh and Justin, the newest members of the Denver Design Build team.

As the demand for new homes in Denver rises, the resources of home builders grow increasingly thin. Many homeowners with remodel and renovation needs are searching far and wide for a company to aid in the transformation of their homes.

Enter: The Denver Design Build Remodel Division!

Combined, Josh and Justin have nearly three decades of experience designing and renovating homes. The two spent time working together in years past and are settling in to Denver Design Build’s unique culture perfectly!

Josh, our new Head of Remodeling, enjoys modern, contemporary, and industrial design, and has a wealth of experience incorporating these styles into the historical homes of our city. When he’s not helping a client pick out the perfect bath tile, Josh enjoys reading, writing, and being active with his 2 kiddos.

A high-end trim carpenter by trade, Justin knows the ins-and-outs of the industry as well as anyone. Bringing 20 years of experience to the table, he is the primary Project Manager for our remodel team. Also a father, Justin has 4 little ones of his own, and spends time mentoring youth as a soccer coach in the summers.

These two will lead a team of trained professionals, exclusively managing all of DDB’s home renovations moving forward. Welcome to the team, guys!

For questions about your own remodel project, you can drop Josh a line directly, at Josh@denverbuild.com.

Welcome Scott

Scott McCormick is the newest addition to the Denver Design Build team.

Originally from Texas, Scott moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico where he spent 8 years building adobe style houses. He’s passionate about energy efficiency, sustainable design, and green building — a perfect fit for Colorado!

When he’s not building houses, he’s probably enjoying the outdoors. Scott enjoys biking, hiking, and surfing, even though Colorado only lends itself to the snow variety.

So far he’s settled into the team nicely, and we’re excited to have him aboard.

Welcome, Scott!

Rocky Mountain Road Club

Denver Design Build is a proud sponsor of the Rocky Mountain Road Club — a Denver based bicycle race team with over 70 active members. The RMRC trains and competes year round in Colorado and the greater Rocky Mountain region.

The longest continuously running race in the Denver area is the Fred Prindle City Park Criterium. Put on by the RMRC and their sponsors, this memorial race fist began in 1971. is in it’s 44th year.

Besides being the longest running race in the region, it’s also known as one of the best kids and family events. Every year tons of tikes show up to take a lap or two around the course. And, in true family fashion, everyone’s a winner! The participants in this category strut home with ribbons and chocolate milk.

These are the types of events Denver Design Build loves being involved in. Not only do they advocate a healthy lifestyle, they bring exposure to local businesses, and they promote community togetherness within the neighborhoods we build our homes.

The 44th annual City Park Crit will be held Saturday May 30, 2015. For more information on the team, or to get involved in the race, visit the RMRC website at http://rockymountainroadclub.org.

Denver Design Build Teams up with the Denver Broncos

Last Friday, Denver Design Build joined over 60 professional volunteers at the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver. The Denver chapter of the International Facilities Management Association organized the event with the intention of improving the establishment for the community. The proposal for those volunteering was a challenging one: complete the largest major renovation of the facility in it’s long-standing Denver history – in a single day.

The makeover consisted of a 17 item “wish list” of cleaning, landscaping, painting, roofing, flooring, carpentry, and upholstery upgrades to the building. Teams were divided by project. The DDB team was tasked with building cubbies for sports equipment, and we quickly got to work.

After a full day, and a ton of elbow grease, the building looks incredible. We were excited to be a part of these efforts. As our relationship with the Denver Broncos and the IFMA grows, we look forward to more projects and opportunities to give back to the Denver community.

Welcome to the Team

With over 16 years of experience in the construction industry, Nick Brown is the newest Project Superintendent here at DDB. For Nick, there’s nothing like working with a client who gets really excited about their custom project.

When he’s not working on Denver’s dream homes, you can find him playing guitar or pouring up tasty libations over at Epernay Lounge.

Ches Arms is a great fit as our new GM and Director of Marketing. His background is in Sales and Advertising, most recently in the graphic design and print industry.

A snow lover and exercise junkie, Ches spends his weekends outdoors. When he’s not in the office he’s usually in the mountains, out for a run, or on a rooftop or patio with friends.

We’d like to officially welcome Jay Feaster to the DDB team. Jay has become one of the Denver Highlands TOP Producing real estate agents since 2011 and has helped more people acquire lots; design; build and sell more new construction than just about anyone.

As a member of the Denver Design Build Sales team, Jay is is going to be helping clients and their brokers acquire lots to build on; educate people on the process of building a new home; help connect clients to construction lenders; and ultimately make the new home construction process as fun and easy as it can possibly be.
Welcome aboard Jay!
